Welcome to my online portfolio! My name is Angelica McDonald and I am a Masters of Teaching student at the University of South Carolina. This portfolio will showcase my growth and accomplishments as an educator throughout my time at the College of Education.
This portfolio also serves as my comprehensive exam. On the right side of this site is the table of contents for this portfolio.
Each section is divided into five major categories with specific standards underneath which are set by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). In each of the categories, there will be an explanation of the standard and all of the documentation that I have included.
Underneath each major category is an explanation of the standard and the elements needed to fulfill those standards.
When you select any of the elements, I will provide artifacts as my evidence to fulfill those standards. For more information behind each artifact, please look back at the reflections posted under each major category. Most of the evidence are PDF documents but some are also links to my online teaching profile that houses most of my unit plans that I have created over the years.
I hope that by viewing this portfolio that you will see not only who I am as an individual but also my dedication for the teaching profession and for my students.
