The first element displays my ability to plan and implement the ELA curriculum based on standards and background knowledge regarding school and community.

The first evidence is my project RESPECT which allowed me to research the surrounding school community and implement that research into my instruction.

The second evidence is my profile of a reader graduate assignment. I meet this standard through this project through my lesson plans, miscue analysis to guide my instruction. I was able to acknowledge the individual and linguistic backgrounds of my student.

The third evidence is a graduate research project called Profile of a Learner. In this case study, I followed three learners over a course of six weeks and used various types of assessments to help guide instruction with my students.

The second element of this standard addresses how I used student data and research to guide instruction and promote an inclusive learning environment.

The first evidence is my project RESPECT. I researched the surrounding school community and implemented that research into my instruction to create an inclusive classroom environment that addressed the needs of all my students.

The second evidence is my profile of a reader. I meet this standard by creating lesson plans after utilizing a miscue analysis and reading conferences to guide my instruction. I was able to acknowledge the individual and linguistic backgrounds of my student to engaged him in literacy.

In this case study, In my reflection, I write about how the workshop model provided me with a means of communicating with my students every day to assess their learning and for them to actively participate in the classroom.

The second and third evidence are two instructional videos for E-learning curriculum during the COVID-19 crisis. I created these instructional videos during my EDSE 77B internship to guide students through Schoology and online learning.
