No Where to Go: Boys Trapped in Sexual Slavery

Anyone who knows me understands that I am very vocal about child abuse, especially when it comes to our our boys and men. We live in a society that we have placed this stigma that only women can be sexually abused or trafficked when millions of young men are being abused each day under our noses. As a teacher I do not want to blind about these stereotypes and I hope to break them not only in the classroom but in the community.

Sexual abuse is very rampant in my state, in fact, we are number 1 when it comes to domestic violence in the United States. Sadly, I know I will have to deal with this in my classroom, but I will not be silent about this not just to keep my job but to be the voice for the voiceless and to destroy this stigma until all boys are free to tell their stories and heal.
